Oaktown Jazz Workshops Summer Fundraiser
We did it - a fun afternoon playing with everyone all together again, supporting Oaktown, where we all learned so much that set the foundation for our music paths. Thanks much to Ravi Abcarian and Richard Howell for their mentorship, and for sitting in! We owe a lot to these musicians, and of course to the founder late Khalil Shaheed.
It was a blessing to bring everyone together to perform at Oaktown again! I hope we can do this yearly and mix it up with other alumni!
A very special thank you to all who came to the performance! The house was packed! We felt the love for sure.
